Hello!
It’s seems like it’s been forever since I’ve posted on my blog. It’s been a whirlwind this past few months! Lots of travel… for family {Hawaii} business {China} and touring {Israel}. I can’t wait to post pics from our trips!
Another reason for my absence was being the unfortunate recipient of someone who had way too much time on their hands and a hobby for hacking. My daughter caught the not-so-lovely caption under my website link in Google warning that “this website may be hacked”. Ugh.
Fortunately, my daughter is married to a computer-coding-techy-genius (no, really!). He was able to clean things up for me in which I was then able to request a review from Google. After reviewing my site, they in turn cleared the warning from their search engine. Even thought my site didn’t harbor any viruses, I still didn’t want to risk having my readers exposed to any unwanted web “stuff” so I held off on posting new content.
With that said, I am thrilled to begin posting some long overdue entries from past photo sessions.
Last August, I was beyond excited to have the opportunity to photograph a dear friend of my daughter while visiting Washington. Allie and my daughter Taylor were roommates while attending Northwest University in Kirkland. After graduation, Taylor moved back to Arizona to attend law school but their friendship continued as though they had never parted. They were blessed to be in each other’s weddings and are now experiencing the joy of motherhood through phone calls, texts and Facebook!
Allie has two beautiful daughters and I had so much fun photographing the girls in such a lush, green setting! Everything from the geese, to the organic apples sprinkled on the ground to the quaint gazebo amidst the marsh made my heart burst! What a joy to photograph in such a gorgeous place.
Thanks for being such an incredible friend to my daughter, Allie and for being such a Godly mother to your beautiful girls!
