I’m so excited to post another great family from my recent military family Mini Sessions I recently held in Hawaii!
This sweet family had a little girl just a little older than our Granddaughter, Adair, so it was so much fun interacting with her and bringing out that adorable toothless grin! Sweet baby “H” was such a delight and made the session SO easy!
I totally forgot how hilarious it is to try and capture a seven month old who has begun to crawl. Mom and Dad would set her as far back on the blanket as possible while I got into position laying on the grass. As soon as they released her, she would laugh as she crawled toward me as fast as she could. And then that magical, mysterious unknown would suddenly appear and baby “H” would freeze in her tracks. She would then gingerly and cautiously reach her hand out to touch the… GRASS! What is it about babies and grass? It happens every time, as if it’s an invisible magnetic field that hems these sweet little babies in!
As you can imagine, my favorite images are those where Mom and Dad are playing and interacting with sweet baby “H”! To capture such love, joy and trust is so meaningful and such a privilege!
I know as a mom, it’s always so meaningful snapping that one memorable picture of your child or children displaying genuine, true emotion. It may not always be giggles and laughter. It may be a look that conveys a mind deep in thought or an expression of cautious uncertainty. Or face it… it may be a full on crying, angry tantrum! To preserve those fleeting moments of your child is nothing short of priceless. But when is the last time that priceless moment captured you and your child together? If it’s been too long, I encourage you to schedule a photo session with me and allow yourself the freedom to just be you and to preserve a brief moment in time with the one’s you love!
